Choosing the right Real Estate agent is an incredibly important decision. In an industry where employees work on commission, volume is more important than quality when it comes to the agents bottom line. The more properties that are sold, the better for the agent. Even if it isn’t necessarily at the price/rate/deal points the buyer/seller want. Because of this, it is very difficult to find an agent whose incentives are truly aligned with yours. In my years of working in the Real Estate business, both for personal home purchases/sales and investment property purchases, I have only found one who truly has their clients best interests in mind.
